1. Description of Service

One Site INC. provides a headless, SMS-based communication and automated check-in routing assistant powered by artificial intelligence ("the Service"). The Service facilitates identity tracking, scheduling reminders, and language translation between Project Managers (PMs) and construction site personnel.

2. SMS Terms & Express Consent (TCPA Compliance)

By scanning the on-site QR code, texting "START", or otherwise initiating contact with our designated Twilio phone numbers, you explicitly consent to receive automated text messages (including SMS and MMS) from our system.

  • Consent: You certify that the phone number you use to access the Service belongs to you or that you have the explicit authority to utilize it for this purpose.

  • Opt-Out: You can cancel the SMS service at any time. Just text STOP to our number. After you send the SMS message STOP to us, we will send you an SMS message to confirm that you have been unsubscribed. After this, you will no longer receive SMS messages from us. If you want to join again, just sign up as you did the first time or text START.

  • Carrier Fees: Message and data rates may apply for any messages sent to you from us and to us from you. Message frequency varies based on daily site activity and project manager interactions. If you have any questions about your text plan or data plan, it is best to contact your wireless provider.

3. AI Limitations & Translation Disclaimer

Our Service utilizes advanced artificial intelligence (specifically Google Gemini) to translate messages between team members and extract intent (such as calculating shift hours).

  • No Guarantee of Accuracy: Machine translation and AI intent extraction are inherently imperfect. The Company does not guarantee 100% accuracy in translations, text-to-hours conversions, or automated logs.

  • User Responsibility: Users (particularly Project Managers and Supervisors) are solely responsible for verifying critical safety instructions, financial hours, and operational directives. The Company is not liable for structural errors, safety incidents, or payroll discrepancies resulting from misinterpreted or mistranslated AI communications.

4. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the Company shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including without limitation, loss of profits, data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from:

  • Your access to or use of (or inability to access or use) the Service.

  • Any construction delays, missed deadlines, or safety events occurring on a job site where the Service is deployed.

  • Carrier-induced network delays, dropped messages, or filtering that prevents a text from being delivered.

Privacy Policy

1. Information We Collect

Because our platform is "headless," we do not collect usernames, passwords, or device tokens. We only collect information transmitted via SMS network protocols and manual entry:

  • Phone Numbers: Collected automatically when a user texts the system.

  • Profile Data: Name, role, company affiliation, and preferred language provided during the initial AI discovery onboarding thread.

  • Log Data: Job details, estimated hours, timestamps of check-ins/check-outs, and the full text transcripts of messages routed through the PM bridge.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the gathered information strictly to operate, maintain, and improve the job site communication loop. Specifically to:

  • Verify identity upon site check-in.

  • Automatically translate communications into the recipient’s preferred language.

  • Compile and deliver aggregate daily site summaries to designated Project Managers.

  • Train and refine our local AI prompt routing (we do not sell your text logs to third-party advertisers).

3. Data Sharing & Third-Party Processors

We do not sell, rent, or trade user data. To function, your data safely passes through our verified infrastructure partners:

  • Twilio: Processes and routes incoming/outgoing SMS traffic.

  • Supabase (PostgreSQL): Securely stores profiles, message logs, and timestamps.

  • Google AI Studio (Gemini API): Processes text strings for instantaneous language translation and intent extraction. Text processed via Google's enterprise API endpoints is subject to their strict data privacy terms and is typically not used to train foundational public models.

  • Upstash: Manages temporary event timeouts (e.g., tracking the 6-hour check-out window) using isolated serverless workflows.

4. Data Retention & Deletion

We retain your information for as long as your project profile remains active within your employer's or general contractor's ecosystem. Workers may request total deletion of their profile and historical text logs at any time by contacting our support channel at support@textonesite.com.
